7 Injured in Fort Greene Fire, FDNY Says

BROOKLYN — Seven people were injured when a Fort Greene apartment building erupted in flames Sunday night, an FDNY spokesman said.

Fire broke out in 171 Adelphi St., near Myrtle Avenue, about 7 p.m., officials said.

One civilian and six firefighters were treated for minor injuries, an FDNY spokesman said.

About 100 firefighters brought the blaze under control about 8 p.m., officials said.
