DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — A signal malfunction at DeKalb Avenue caused delays on five subway lines during Friday morning's rush hour, the MTA said.

Manhattan-bound Q trains were running via the R line to Canal Street, while Ns and Rs were running with delays in both directions, the MTA said.

Manhattan-bound Bs were also running with delays, and Manhattan-bound Ds were running local from 36th Street to DeKalb Avenue.

The agency was advising straphangers to allow additional time for travel.
