CHELSEA — A pair of men lost their pricey designer watches to thieves in separate incidents, police said.

On Sunday, a man was staying at the Dream Downtown hotel at 355 W. 16th St. with a woman when he realized around 6:45 a.m. that she had opened his hotel safe without his permission, the NYPD said.

When he checked the safe, he discovered his $25,000 Jaeger-LeCoultre Geographic Wrist Watch, a pair of $600 Alexander McQueen black leather boots and a $200 Officine Générale white denim jacket were gone, he told police.

A few weeks earlier, on Jan. 21, a 41-year-old man was with friends at Marquee nightclub at 289 10th Avenue around midnight when he went to use the bathroom, police said.

In an “intoxicated and wasted” state, he took off his $41,000 Patek Philippe watch and left it on the sink basin, he told police.

When he returned to the bathroom an hour later, the watch was gone, police said.

Neither the Dream Hotel nor Marquee immediately responded to requests for comment Wednesday.

Police are investigating both incidents.
