Man Stabbed During Argument on Steinway Street, Police Say

ASTORIA — Police are looking for two suspects who stabbed a man during an argument on Steinway Street earlier this month, according to the NYPD.

The two men got into a fight with the victim, whom they did not know, on the corner of Steinway Street and 28th Avenue at 4 a.m. on Feb. 2, police said.

One of them pulled out a knife during the argument and stabbed the man in his torso, then fled, according to police. The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital for treatment.

Police say one suspect is in his 20s, is 5 foot 3 inches tall and roughly 140 to 200 pounds. The other man was wearing a red hat, jeans and a black jacket.
