BAYSIDE — A two-month Sylvester Stallone film festival is ready to help you binge-watch decades of Sly classics — although some fans may be heartbroken to see films like "Over the Top" and "Rocky IV" have been left off the list.

The Queens Library's Bayside branch, at 214-20 Northern Blvd., will host the weekly series highlighting selected films from Stallone, who recently won a Golden Globe for his role in "Creed."

The screenings will run every Thursday from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and will be followed by a discussion.

It kicks off this Thursday, Feb. 4 with "Tango & Cash," a classic action comedy that tells the story of LAPD Narcotics detectives Raymond Tango and Gabriel Cash. Although rivals, they're forced to work with each other after they're framed for murder.

It continues on Feb. 11 with a screening of "Cobra," written by and starring Stallone. He plays Marion "Cobra" Cobretti, part of an LAPD unit known as the "Zombie Squad" who becomes romantically involved with Ingrid, played by his onetime real-life love Brigitte Nielsen.

The month closes with "Bullet to the Head" on Feb. 18, and "Escape Plan" on Feb. 25.

March begins with a screening of "Grudge Match," also starring Robert DeNiro, on March 3.

The remaining four weeks are left with showings of three of the "Rocky" installments, beginning March 10 with the first film, released in 1976.

Although it was the most financially successful, 1985's "Rocky IV" will not be screened.

The film series ends March 31 with a showing of "Creed," where Stallone returns as Rocky Balboa to train the son of his formal rival, Apollo Creed.

Stallone won a Golden Globe for the role and was also nominated for a supporting actor Oscar.
