Man Steals $2K in Apple Computers, Equipment from UES Doctor's Office: NYPD

UPPER EAST SIDE — A man broke into a doctor's office last week and helped himself to more than $2,000 in Apple products and equipment, according to the NYPD.

The suspect entered through the side door of New York Eye Cancer Center at 115 E. 61st St., between Park and Lexington avenues, and stole two Apple computers and other electronics worth a total of $2,179 on Jan. 9 at 10:52 a.m., police said. 

The New York Eye Cancer Center did not immediately return a call for comment.

The man was described as wearing glasses and a baseball cap.

On Jan. 14, the NYPD's 19th Precinct posted information about the incident on its Twitter account:
