Famed Subway Ad Star Dr. Zizmor Retires, the Internet Despairs

The mottled faces of New York City straphangers fell this morning when local celebrity dermatologist Dr. Zizmor announced his retirement at age 70, several outlets reported.

The doctor, who has been advertising his services on city subways since the early 1980s has been trying to sell his Fieldston mansion for the last three years, the Daily News reported. The home is currently listed for $3.075 million.

The doctor plans to spend his retirement studying the Talmud, the Daily News also reported.
