QUEENS — A 16-year-old boy was found fatally shot in the head on a Jamaica street shortly before midnight on New Year’s Eve, police said.
Jihad Jackson, of Rosedale, was shot once in the head and found unconscious at the corner of 109 Avenue and Merrick Boulevard at around 11:30 p.m., according to the NYPD.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No arrests have been made, but police were questioning two people as of Friday morning, the NYPD said.
No other details were available.
