EAST ELMHURST — Help brainstorm ways to fix dangerous Astoria Boulevard at a workshop Wednesday night with the Department of Transportation.

Residents can meet with DOT reps in Bruno's, at 88-25 Astoria Blvd., at 7 p.m. to discuss future changes to the boulevard between 77th and 92nd streets.

The workshop will be broken out into groups to allow for collaboration, officials said.

There have been countless injuries and four deaths on the wide stretch of Astoria Boulevard since 2009, according to Councilman Costa Constantinides' office.

He's sponsoring the meeting along with Assemblyman Michael DenDekker.
