BOERUM HILL — A temporary tattoo studio that creates designer wearable art for adults is opening a pop-up parlor in Boerum Hill this weekend.

Tattly, a Brooklyn-based company that launched in 2011, will open Nov. 14 inside the Invisible Dog Art Center at 51 Bergen St. near Smith Street.

The parlor, which will be open Tuesday to Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. till the end of February 2016, is complete with vintage-looking barber shop chairs for in-store appointments.

Tattly tattoos, which are non-toxic and printed with a vegetable-based ink, are each designed by dozens of artists from cities including New York, Barcelona, Tel Aviv and Bristol in the United Kingdom. The designers all receive a cut of each tattoo sale, according to Tattly's website

That includes subway-themed tattoos by the MTA, designs from Rifle Paper Co. and Invisible Dog artist Oliver Jeffers.

At the pop-up, Tattly will be selling its "Tattly Sets," "The Super Set" for $250 and application kits. Some designs can also be purchased individually.

Appointments are available at the parlor for both kids and adults at $15 and $30 respectively. Tattly also has a "bring a friend" deal in which two people can get up to eight designs for $50.

The parlor will also be selling designer wallpaper by Tea Leigh, printed by Flavor Paper, for $200 for a 28 square-foot single roll.

More on prices and designs can be found on Tattly's website. For appointments, email appointments@tattly.com.
