Man Struck and Killed by 7 Train, Police Say

CORONA — A man was struck and killed by a 7 train early Saturday near Junction Boulevard, police said.

Alejandro Serrano-Ortega, 26, of Murray Hill, Queens, was found on the 7 train tracks on the northbound side near Junction Boulevard at 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 24, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Serrano-Ortega, the father of a 3-year-old daughter, was on his way home from work at the time, according to the Daily News.

He was allegedly drunk when he fell on to the train tracks, according to the News.
