The World's Borough is getting the World Series for the first time in 15 years — and boy, is it going to cost you some serious dough to watch it in person.
You can watch the sold-out game at home, when it airs on Fox; with your ear glued to WOR 710, listening to the great Howie Rose call it; or at any of the many bars in Queens and throughout the city where the game will be on (and the beers will be cold.)
Or you can hand over at least $645 for a standing-room only ticket when the New York Mets face down either the Toronto Blue Jays or Kansas City Royals next week.
Those are the cheapest tickets available on StubHub for the sold-out game.
Seats behind home plate are selling for around $4,000. And the most expensive ticket is listed at $20,000 for left field reserve.
The Mets swept the Chicago Cubs, defeating them 8 -3 Wednesday night to face either the Kansas City Royals or the Toronto Blue Jays.
The world series kicks off Tuesday, Oct. 27 for two games in either Toronto or Kansas City, followed by a stint in Queens Oct. 30, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.
