BROOKLYN — Police are looking for an employee at a Williamsburg bodega who stabbed a customer in the stomach during an argument in early August, police said.
The suspect, who can be seen in photos released by police, was working inside 48 N. Sixth St., near Kent Avenue, about 3:40 a.m. on Aug. 6 when he started arguing with a 23-year-old customer, NYPD officials said.
The verbal spat turned physical and the suspect stabbed the man in the stomach, police said.
The victim's condition was not immediately clear.
A worker who answered the phone at the deli, called 48 N 6th Deli, declined to comment.
The suspect is about 5-foot-8, 140 pounds and wore a white T-shirt with tan pants, police said.
