WEST VILLAGE — Police are looking for a man who hit and robbed a woman he followed home late at night, the NYPD said.
Police said the man was armed with a gun when he followed the 26-year-old victim into her building on Hudson Street about 3:50 a.m. on Oct. 17.
The man demanded the woman give him her bag, police said, then hit her in the head with the gun, yanked the bag from her and took off running.
The victim declined medical attention at the scene, police said.
Police are circulating the surveillance photos above in the hopes of tracking down the suspect.
