HARLEM — Men carrying silver handguns robbed three 14-year-old boys playing basketball at Marcus Garvey Park over the weekend.

The teens were playing basketball about 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17 when the gunmen broke up the game, according to the NYPD.

One of the men told the boys, "Now you see what I got," after showing off his gun, according to the police.

The three men got away with $60 and two smart phones.

None of the teens were injured, police said.

The armed robbery was the second incident to happen in the park in as many days.

On Friday, about 12:45 p.m. a 45-year-old man was slashed in the face after saying he was not a gang member, police said.

The victim told police that he was sitting in the north side of the park when a man walked up to him and asked, "Are you a blood?"

After the victim said he was not, the man asked him to take a walk. During the walk the man pulled out a box cutter and slashed the victim across the face.

The man first walked home and later went to Harlem Hospital, police said.
