BROOKLYN — A person was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in Sunset Park Thursday afternoon, according to the fire department.
The person was hit at Third Avenue near 22nd Street at about 3:30 p.m. and taken to New York Methodist Hospital in serious condition, an FDNY spokesman said.
The circumstances surrounding the collision, including whether the driver remained on the scene, were not immediately known.
