MANHATTAN — A motorcyclist died after falling off his bike in Central Park Monday morning, according to the NYPD.
The 45-year-old man was traveling eastbound on the 79th Street Transverse near Fifth Avenue at about 11:15 a.m. when he lost control and fell onto the pavement.
He was transported to St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital where he later died.
The man’s identity was not immediately released and the NYPD was investigating.
