CROWN HEIGHTS — A 41-year-old man was shot and killed outside of a Crown Heights apartment building over the weekend, police said.

Police found Damon Haskins of Bushwick with a gunshot wound to the chest outside of 500 Sterling Place between Washington and Classon avenues just before 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, the NYPD said.

Haskins, 41, was transported to Methodist Hospital and pronounced dead a short time later, officials said.

According to a report by the Daily News, Haskins’ sister, Tamecca Haskins, was shot and killed last year in Bedford-Stuyvesant over Fourth of July weekend.

No suspects have been identified in Saturday’s shooting and the investigation is ongoing, police said.

Haskins' death was one of several violent incidents in the neighborhood over Labor Day weekend.

Early Friday morning, two men were shot and killed, one while he sat in his parked car in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens and the other on a street corner in eastern Crown Heights.

Five other people were killed or wounded on Monday, including a man who was stabbed to death near Grand Army Plaza before the annual West Indian Day Parade; four others, including a staff member for Governor Cuomo, were injured by gunfire throughout the day.
