Man Killed by B Train on 116th Street

HARLEM — A northbound B train killed a man who was laying on the tracks Thursday afternoon.

The train hit the 68-year-old man, who police have not identified, at the station on 116th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard around 1 p.m. Thursday, according to the NYPD.

Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

The Medical examiner will determine the cause of death, officers are investigating how the man ended up on the tracks.
