JACKSON HEIGHTS — Boutique shop Lockwood opened its third shop in Queens on Thursday with a bright and airy location on 37th Avenue.

Owner Mackenzi Farquer told DNAinfo in April the storefront near 78th Street reminded her of home — and she's filled the 900 square-foot space with Queens-centric t-shirts, baby clothes and home goods with a fun flair.

Farquer opened her first store, a gift shop called SITE NYC, in Astoria in 2007. She closed that shop in 2013 and opened it in a bigger space on 33rd Street near Broadway, with the new name Lockwood.

She had wanted to expand to other parts of Queens and was ultimately swayed by the tree-lined 37th Avenue.

The smaller shop features items found exclusively in the Jackson Heights location, including a special neighborhood mug and a larger selection of Queens snapbacks designed by native Knew York.

Farquer said they wanted to focus on more household items, so they have dishes, plates and table linens only sold in the Jackson Heights location.

There's also a large section for kids clothing, toys and books.

Lockwood Jackson Heights, 77-13 37th Ave., is planning a grand opening celebration on Sept. 3 at 6 p.m., with discounts and refreshments.
