LOWER MANHATTAN — A thief swiped a sanitation worker's uniform, his badge and ID card, along with nearly $1,000 worth of electronics, from inside a parked car last week, police said.

The owner, a 33-year-old Queens man, had parked his car on the corner of Pearl and Dover streets, right by the Brooklyn Bridge, at about 10 p.m. on Aug. 15., he told police.

When he came back the next day, at about 1:30 p.m., he found the rear driver's side window smashed, and his things missing, police said.

Along with the sanitation items, the thief stole an iPad, iPhone, a bluetooth speaker and $100 in cash, police said.
