FINANCIAL DISTRICT — A new spot for green juices, smoothies and kale-infused baked goods has opened in the Financial District.

New York City chain Juice Generation opened its newest, and largest, location at 101 Maiden Lane Wednesday, the company said.

This is Juice Generation's 15th city outpost, and its first below Canal Street. The new shop, which also has outdoor seating, sits below another healthy lifestyle favorite: SoulCycle.

Juice Generation first opened in 1999, and now has locations across Manhattan, as well as one shop in Williamsburg.

Along with juice and smoothie concoctions, the shop also offers up a variety of grab-and-go raw food options, and fruit and veggie infused baked goods, like a kale oatmeal raisin cookie, and an acai-filled pop tart.
