Did you lose your bike after a Sunday spent drinking on the beach, in bars or on the street in Belle Harbor?
If so, a person you ran into last night is looking out for you.
A note was left on a white beach cruiser — the unofficial official wheels of the peninsula — found on Beach 129th Street, according to observer Michael Young.
He tweeted a photo of the scrawled note which helps the rider remember what he or she did last night.
"FYI," it begins.
"You were drunk last night and crashed your bike into my 10-year-old daughter. It was 8:30. She is ok — luckily."
Then the note-writer lets the allegedly drunk cyclist know what happened to him or her, assuming (probably correctly) that they wouldn't remember.
"You cut your head, ear and hand — in case you were wondering."
Young wrote that the person also left with only one flip flop.
