Man Gropes Woman on Crowded Bronx Subway Train, Police Say

CONCOURSE — A man aboard a rush hour 4 train took advantage of the crowded car by touching a female passenger's butt, police said.

The suspect, a man in his 30s, put his hand on the 28-year-old victim's behind on July 9 around 5:50 p.m., according to police.

She realized what was going on when the train started emptying out at the 161st Street station by Yankee Stadium in the 44th Precinct and was able to take a picture of the suspect before he left at the 170th Street station, police said.

Officers described the suspect as a 5-foot 6-inch man weighing 150 pounds with a clear complexion and black hair.
