SOUTH BRONX — Add a dialysis center and a health center to the list of new facilities coming to The Hub.

Triangle Equities, which is working on constructing a mixed-use commercial and community development called Triangle Plaza Hub on 149th Street, recently announced that Brightpoint Health and DaVita Dialysis Center would be joining Fine Fare Supermarket, Metropolitan College of New York, Vistasite Eye Care and Boston Market at the building.

Brightpoint, a non-profit that provides medical, mental health and social support services, will lease 16,000 square feet on the second floor, and DaVita will occupy 8,900 square feet on the ground floor.

The complex totals 88,000 square feet and has two empty spots left for retail on the ground floor.

One is 3,900 square feet, while the other is 1,300 square feet, and Triangle Equities is open to any businesses interested in the spaces.

The building will include a public plaza as well, and there is still a 3,000-square-foot site available next to it, which the company hopes to develop into a stand-alone building.

Triangle Plaza Hub is a $35 million project, and it should be ready to open in the fall.

Lester Petracca, president of Triangle Equities, said in a statement that the company was pleased with the interest companies had shown in the project so far.

“With our grand opening fast approaching, we’re excited to finally bring the services and amenities of this community-centric development to a deserving area, which, we believe, will catalyze continued improvements to this outstanding neighborhood,” he said.
