CHINATOWN — A new rooftop bar overlooking the Bowery and with views of the Empire State Building quietly opened last month at the top of the Wyndham Garden Hotel.

Rooftop93 Bar & Lounge at 93 Bowery — which is currently going through a soft opening — features floor-to-ceiling windows in its indoor lounge on the 18th floor. On the rooftop one floor above, customers can take in views of One World Trade Center and the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges.

Rooftop 93’s cocktail list includes about a half-dozen mixed drinks, like the “Skyview Cosmo,” which uses pomegranate juice instead of cranberry, and the “Bowery Boozer,” the bar’s take on a Long Island iced tea, according to manager Michael LaSalle. Each of the cocktails is made with premium liquor, he added.

Rooftop93 also serves a selection of domestic and imported beers. A limited number of bar bites, like chicken wings and dumplings from the hotel’s restaurant, Elevate, are also available from 5 to 8 p.m., he said.

LaSalle described the bar as an intimate, laid-back spot where people can meet after work or hang out on the weekends. There is no dress code, he said, although there is a $25 minimum to drink on the roof.

“We want people to come here and enjoy themselves, enjoy the view,” he said.

Rooftop93 Bar & Lounge is open from 5 p.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday, and from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday through Saturday.
