QUEENS — Police are looking for two men suspected of robbing a 17-year-old boy while he was walking on a Jamaica street.

The victim was at the intersection of 110th Avenue and Merrick Boulevard on June 15 when two suspects approached him around 2:45 p.m. and demanded his cell phone, according to the NYPD.

After the teen refused, one of the suspects said that he had a gun. They then grabbed the victim’s cell phone and backpack before fleeing on foot, police said.

The teen was not hurt, officials said.

Police described the suspects as being approximately 20- to 25-years-old and released photos of one of them Wednesday.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
