MANHATTAN — A bike riding bandit snatched two phones out of the hands of unsuspecting pedestrian's in the East Village, police said.
A video one of the incidents captures the sticky-fingered rider headed south on Avenue A. At the crosswalk he snatches a phone from a woman who then sprints after him along Avenue A. The theft occurred on Wednesday at 5:35 p.m. the time stamp from the video shows.
Police would not immediately provide information about the second phone snatching, though the 9th Precinct mentioned the thefts on Twitter.
No arrests have been made and and an investigation is ongoing, police said.
