MANHATTAN — Police are looking for a man they say groped a woman from behind as she entered an apartment building on 181st Street last month.
The 22-year-old victim was walking near 181st Street and Bennett Avenue at about 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 19, when she entered an apartment building's vestibule, the NYPD said.
The suspect approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks, police said.
He also tried to follow her into the building but wasn't able to get in. He fled the scene on foot, the NYPD said.
Police described the suspect as between 25 and 35 years old. He stands between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot-2 and has a thin build, police said.
