WOODROW — A man swiped piping from a construction site and pawned it for "gas money," a law enforcement source said.

Anthony Malaspina, 33, took $1,475 worth of piping from a construction site near the intersection of Gilroy Street and Woodrow Road on June 22 at about 6 a.m., prosecutors said.

Malaspina was charged with grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny at his arraignment on Friday, the Staten Island District Attorney's office said.

His bail was set at $2,500 and he's due back in court on July 8, according to online court records.

Malaspina's lawyer, Gregory Clarke, declined to comment on the case.
