HUNTERS POINT — Outdoor market LIC Flea and Food will be open late for the Fourth of July fireworks this weekend, where flea-goers will be able to shop, eat and imbibe while they take in the show.

The flea, located at Fifth Street and 46th Avenue, will run Saturday at night for the first time, with its vendors staying open until 10:30 p.m.

This includes the market's beer garden, which serves up brews exclusively from Queens-based breweries, like Big Alice Brewing and SingleCut Beersmiths.

Long Island City is expected to get its best views of the fireworks in years. The display will be shot off from several barges along the East River, including ones near the neighborhood.

Macy's will be using Hunters Point South Park in order to broadcast the display, closing the space to the public the day of the event. A number of streets in the neighborhood will also be closed to parking, and to traffic starting at 1 p.m.
