PORT RICHMOND — Police arrested four people after heroin and crack were found inside their car, prosecutors said.

Jennifer Rodriguez, 28, Amanda Farone, 26, John Johnson, 30, and Quentis Foster, 38, were sitting in a car parked on Port Richmond Avenue, near Castleton Avenue, on June 16 at about 5:50 p.m. when police said they noticed Johnson hand an object wrapped in a paper towel.

When police searched the vehicle, they found 21 plastic twists filled with crack and 31 glassine envelopes of heroin, all labeled with "RIP."

Rodriguez, Farone, Johnson and Foster were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance at their arraignment, according to the Staten Island District Attorney's office.

Lawyers for Farone, Johnson and Foster did not respond to requests for comment. Rodriguez's lawyer could not be reached for comment.
