BROOKLYN — Police released photos of suspects who may have been the ones who stabbed two teen friends to death in separate incidents in Crown Heights on Wednesday night, officials said.

Jamal Joseph, 18, was stabbed in the neck, shoulder and torso inside of Allegiance, a sneaker store at 249 Utica Ave. near Lincoln Place at about 6:50 p.m., police said.

Then, at 11:34 p.m. on the same day, Joseph's friend John Garrett, 17, was stabbed during a fight outside of a bodega at 1122 Eastern Parkway, near Utica Avenue, police said.

Both were taken to Kings County Hospital where they were pronounced dead, police said.

"They knew each other. They were good friends. It's crazy," said Gianni Moran, 17, who grew up with the boys.

No one had been arrested for either stabbing as of Friday morning, officials said, but investigators released photos of a man they said may have killed Joseph.

Police said he was seen in a surveillance video fleeing the scene. The suspect was wearing a red T-shirt with "Hollister" written in a yellow box.

Police also released photos of three other men wanted for questioning. One wore a camouflage hat, yellow T-shirt and blue shorts. Another wore a black T-shirt with black leather pants. And the third wore a purple polo shirt with a lion on the left breast and gray sleeves.

In addition, investigators are looking for a couple who was captured on a surveillance video at the scene of the stabbing that killed Garrett. Detectives want to interview the pair, the NYPD said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
