FINANCIAL DISTRICT — A woman snatched a cab driver's wallet containing $400 just before hopping out at her destination, police said.

The 25-year-old cabbie picked up the woman on the corner of Cortlandt Street and Broadway at about 4 p.m. on June 3 and drove her three blocks to Fulton and Church Streets, police said.

She was sitting in the front passenger seat at the time and she left the cab without incident. But after he dropped her off, the driver noticed that his wallet was missing from the center console, police said.

The driver told police there had also been a charge on one of his credit cards, though he didn't say what or how much was purchased.
