HIGHBRIDGE — A burglar pried open the roll-down security gate of a South Bronx fruit, vegetable and meat market early on Saturday morning and snatched about $50 from its register, police said.
The suspect used a lever to pry open the gate at 106 W. 168th St. at roughly 3:30 a.m. on June 6, according to the NYPD and a surveillance video of the incident.
The video shows the suspect searching through the market with a flashlight. He managed to take approximately $50 in cash from the register before fleeing the scene, police said.
