MIDTOWN — BLT Steak just got a little less rare.
The high-end house of meat, which already has a location on West 57th Street, will open a new spot at 135 W. 52nd St. in spring 2016, according to spokeswoman Helen Zhang.
The 40-ounce porterhouse for two, dry-aged for 28 days, broiled at 1700 degrees and topped with herb butter, costs $47 a person. A 22-ounce bone-in rib-eye for one goes for $51.
The spot will not be headed by chef Laurent Tourondel, for whom BLT Steak was initially named, the spokeswoman confirmed. The chain has not yet chosen a new executive chef for its new outpost.
