PROSPECT HEIGHTS — The owners behind Prospect Heights favorite Franny's are opening a bar and grill this week.

Rose’s Bar & Grill is set to open Wednesday at 295 Flatbush Ave., said owners Andrew Feinberg and Francine Stephens, the husband-and-wife team behind Franny’s and the nearby provisions shop Bklyn Larder, both located on the Park Slope side of Flatbush Avenue.

Feinberg and Stephens aim to make Rose’s “a true neighborhood spot with the kind of honest bar food we love — cheese toast, fried olives, salad, spit pork and hamburgers,” they said in a statement.

Most menu items will be priced under $20, they said. The new restaurant will open every day at 4 p.m., serving a full menu Wednesdays through Sundays and offering bar service only on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Rose’s replaces the couple’s previous venture, Marco’s, an Italian trattoria that closed in November because it wasn’t “profitable enough,” they said at the time.
