Here's How Your Neighborhood Spent Its Tax Dollars

The ballots have been cast in this year's round of participatory budgeting, and the results are in. Now New Yorkers can see exactly what they've chosen to fund where by consulting a map published by City Council.

24 city council districts were part of participatory budgeting this year, and $32 million in discretionary spending was awarded to projects selected by voting community members. Education projects were the most numerous among the funded projects citywide, followed by parks and recreation projects.
