Man Steals $350 in Crown Heights Deli Stick Up, Police Say

BROOKLYN — A man with a revolver stuck up a Crown Heights deli before running off with $350, police said.

The thief, who can be seen in surveillance video released by police, walked into the deli at 689A Nostrand Ave., near St. Marks Avenue, about 12:30 a.m. March 19 and drew his gun, according to the NYPD.

He demanded money from the 31-year-old clerk who handed over $350, police said.

The thief fled the scene and had not been arrested by Wednesday morning, police said.

The thief is about 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds, police said.

He was wearing a gray beanie, a gray hoodie, a waist-length black jacket, a blue backpack and brown boots, police said.
