BROOKLYN — Thieves broke into the basement of a Bushwick home and stole a MacBook, iPad, purse, jacket and five automated screwdrivers before fleeing the scene, police said.

The two men, who can be seen in surveillance photos released by police, pried open the basement door to a home on Putnam Avenue between 6 p.m. Feb. 20 and 7 a.m. Feb. 21, police said.

Police did not give a cross street for the home's location.

The thieves, who were still at large Tuesday morning, are about 47-years-old and thin, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
