MANHATTAN — Now’s your chance to ask New School president David Van Zandt questions about how the school's expansion will affect the Village and Union Square.
The New School recently opened a new 16-floor University Center building at 14th Street and Fifth Avenue, and is planning a renovated performing arts hub at Arnhold Hall that will add new features, including a “glass box” theater, this fall.
The school is gathering questions from the community about how these changes will affect the surrounding community, and Van Zandt will answer them during a live Q&A chat from 4 to 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
