SUNSET PARK — Brooklyn candy company Liddabit Sweets is opening its doors to public tours and classes for the first time since moving to its new Sunset Park space.

The Valentine's Day tours, set for Saturday, include a complimentary cup of cocoa and cookies, a behind-the-scenes look at Liddabit's production space and a short class on making your own truffles and ganache, said co-owner Liz Gutman.

Liddabit moved to its 2,200-square-foot commercial kitchen and flagship retail space at at 220 36th St. in Industry City less than a year ago, Gutman said.

This is the first time the public will have a chance to "see how we do what we do," she added.

The tour and class — scheduled for noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. — will last for about an hour and are priced at $15 per person.

Liddabit's candy makers will demonstrate a few chocolate-making techniques for visitors, who will have a chance to pipe their own truffles and take the treats home in goodie bags.

Later this month, Liddabit will host an in-depth two-hour chocolate primer that covers tempering, truffles, chocolate lollipops and mendiants, priced at $115.
