QUEENS — A man was arrested Tuesday nearly three weeks after he was caught grinning with his hand down his pants aboard an R train near Queensboro Plaza, police said.

Wilmer Busto, 33, was sitting on the train Jan. 23 about 5:40 p.m. when a 47-year-old woman spotted him "manipulating" himself and snapped a photo of him smiling at her before he ran off the train at the next stop, according to the NYPD.

Busto, who lives in Woodside, was arrested Tuesday on a public lewdness charge, police said.

He had not been arraigned as of Wednesday morning, prosecutors said.
