QUEENS — Police are investigating the death of a 3-month-old boy who was found unconscious Sunday morning in South Jamaica, authorities said.

The boy, Javion Williams, was found unresponsive at his home on 144th Street, near Farmers Boulevard, about 3:15 a.m. Sunday by his father, who police said called 911.

The boy was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, officials said.

Police said the boy’s body had no apparent visible signs of trauma and that the medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

The city's Medical Examiner's Office did not immediately respond to a phone call seeking comment.

No arrests were made as of Monday morning, police said.
