One Person Seriously Hurt in Ditmars Fire, FDNY Says

QUEENS — A person was seriously hurt in a fire at a Ditmars apartment building Wednesday morning, FDNY officials said.

The blaze started inside 21-37 35th St., near Ditmars Boulevard, about 10:48 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said.

A person, whose identity was not immediately released, suffered serious injuries but was listed in stable condition at an area hospital, the FDNY said.

The fire was brought under control about 11:20 a.m.
