QUEENS — Police are looking for a man who allegedly groped a woman and threw her to the ground during the morning rush hour last Tuesday on a subway platform in Forest Hills.

The victim, a 38-year-old woman, was walking on the Manhattan-bound F train platform at the 75th Avenue station on Dec. 30 at about 7:40 a.m. when the man grabbed her from behind, police said.

The attacker, officials said, touched her buttocks and private parts. He then pushed her to the ground, before fleeing.

Police said the man was last seen running east along Queens Boulevard before turning right into 76th Avenue.

Officials said the victim didn’t know her attacker.

Authorities described the suspect as standing 5-foot-8 with a stocky build.

He was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, dark colored backpack and a green or camouflaged colored hat.

No arrests were made as of Friday morning, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES), then entering TIP577.
