CORONA — Police are searching for a man who tried to rape a woman on New Year's Day, officials said.
The suspect attempted to attack the victim at 8:15 a.m. near 56th Avenue and 94th Street, according to the NYPD.
He later fled.
Authorities described the suspect as 5-foot-5, but had no further description.
