QUEENS — A 60-year-old man died Wednesday night when an MTA bus hit him in a Flushing crosswalk, police said.
The man, whose name was not immediately released, was crossing south on Union Street at Northern Boulevard about 10:30 p.m. when an eastbound Q13 bus turned right onto the boulevard and struck him, according to the NYPD.
The man was pronounced dead at New York Hospital Queens, police said.
The bus driver remained on the scene, police said. It was no clear if there was any criminality involved.
Police said their investigation is ongoing.
