Man Seriously Injured in Woodside Hit-and-Run, Police Say

QUEENS — A man was critically injured when an SUV hit him on Queens Boulevard and drove off Thursday morning, police said.

The victim, in his 20s or 30s, was trying to cross Queens Boulevard at 60th Street about 1:30 a.m. when a westbound SUV hit him and continued driving toward the Queensboro Bridge, an NYPD spokesman said.

The pedestrian was taken to Elmhurst Hospital and listed in critical condition, police said.

The SUV was described as dark, an NYPD spokesman said.

No arrests were made.
