THE BRONX — A man was found fatally shot in the kitchen of his Claremont home Sunday afternoon, police said.

Bismal Galard Martinez, 30, was lying unconscious when a cousin found him about 3:50 p.m. inside the second-floor apartment they share on Mount Eden Parkway, near Eastburn Avenue, according to the NYPD.

Martinez's cousin, a 30-year-old woman whose name was not released, called 911, police said.

He was taken to Bronx-Lebanon Hospital and pronounced dead, police said.

The apartment showed no signs of forced entry and nothing was taken, an NYPD spokesman said.

No arrests have been made.
